i-Mobility

i-Mobility is a leading trade fair in Southern Germany focused on sustainable, intelligent, and future-oriented mobility solutions. It takes place annually at Messe Stuttgart, one of Europe’s most modern and best-connected exhibition centers, located near the airport and accessible via its own S-Bahn station.

The event is organized by Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport of Baden-Württemberg, e-mobil BW, ADAC Württemberg, and other industry partners. As a TESTiVENT, i-Mobility combines traditional exhibition formats with hands-on experiences, allowing visitors to test electric cars, hydrogen vehicles, e-bikes, pedelecs, e-scooters, and electric commercial vehicles on-site.

The fair addresses pressing topics such as the transition to climate-friendly mobility, digital infrastructure development, urban logistics concepts, and the integration of smart technologies into daily life and cityscapes. It features extensive test tracks covering more than 1,200 m², a realistic ADAC rollover simulator, live demonstrations, and expert talks.

i-Mobility showcases innovative solutions across the entire mobility spectrum, including connected driving, smart city strategies, digital charging infrastructure, and sharing services. Exhibitors come from sectors such as automotive, e-mobility, energy, research, IT, urban planning, logistics, and public transportation.

A key feature of the event is the 'Municipalities Day,' where representatives from cities, towns, and districts discuss practical challenges such as fleet electrification, charging infrastructure expansion, and efficient land use. The fair also includes keynotes, panel discussions, and real-world case studies to facilitate networking and knowledge exchange.

The event is tailored for a broad audience, including private consumers, companies, municipal representatives, urban developers, planners, and professionals from government, engineering, and science. It provides an ideal platform for showcasing the mobility transition in Baden-Württemberg, which serves as a hub for innovative automotive and energy technologies.
